dialogues between the visible and invisible

We are visual creatures. However, the immense value of the unseen and often ignored invisible worlds cannot and should not be ignored. Intrigued, scientists and artists continue to research, discover and interpret these worlds.

Challenging our children’s thinking to stretch beyond the visible and concrete into the more abstract, zones of in-depth exploration emerge.  Conversations do not always produce answers but offer visibility to interest, doubt, questions and possible hypotheses.

Even though light itself is not visible, it allows us to see.  Invisible yet powerful, light is a fascinating field of research. It transforms our environments in myriad ways through its interactions with different matter and materials. The different phenomena of light create beautiful designs that affect our perception of the spaces around us. In dialogue with real and virtual worlds, the children create and transform landscapes.
