Enchantment has been the overarching pedagogical concept approached together with our K1 children. As our incoming children are welcomed into a novel school environment and community ‐ where new friends, teachers, spaces, materials and experiences await them ‐ this is a particularly powerful avenue to consider.
The dialogue between children and the environment is central to their experience of the world in general, as it is within the more intimate and personal setting of our school. Traveling along the complex pathways of enchantment, children make marvelous discoveries and uncover their interests.
Our projects provide meaningful opportunities to broaden children’s natural curiosity, develop deep relations with peers, adults and places and support children in their learning about the world.
